DJ Rosez
About
DJ Rosez is a Houston-based queer Salvadoran DJ, curator, and cultural force who has been redefining Latin dance floors since launching her mixing career during the pandemic. Driven by a mission to amplify representation for queer Latinx women, she has built a reputation for creating infectious “Latin vibes,” seamlessly blending reggaeton, Latin hits, nostalgic favorites, and inventive mash-ups that keep crowds moving from start to finish. Her sets are more than celebrations of sound—they’re vibrant expressions of culture, community, and identity, designed to bring people together through rhythm and joy.
Known for her dynamic energy and crowd-first approach, Rosez has taken her sound from local dance floors to global stages, performing for renowned platforms like SXSW and Boiler Room while collaborating with artists including Karol G, Bad Bunny, and Megan Thee Stallion. Her reach extends beyond Houston, with performances across Canada, Mexico, and El Salvador, connecting audiences through a shared love of Latin music and queer nightlife. As the two-time recipient of OutSmart Magazine’s “Favorite Female DJ” award, Rosez continues to shape culture through beloved events such as Perreo & Pilates, Puchica Voz Market, and her monthly Y2K Reggaeton Nite—creating unforgettable spaces where nostalgia, perreo, and community collide.
